This Mid-Century Modernism 60’s Villa is newly renovated with authentic furnishings and retro designed décor pieces presenting a true architectural beauty and capturing the 60’s era accurate. Located on a gently sloping Hill in a prestigious West Hollywood private non-thru-traffic street inducing a sleek appearance, stylish visual style and creating a candid sweet magical mood. Built elevated and floating above ground level it offers magnificent views over the City of Angels.

The large 2500 sqft interior structure has an open layout allowing free flow of living, dining and entertaining space. It extends back to the exterior terrace and garden and feels like a suspended pavilion. A massive, natural rock double gas fireplace anchors the living room with its platinum porcelain tile floors, and the full ceiling glass windows throughout the Villa maximize the views allowing in light and pulling sunshine indoors.

Right from the entrance, the Living room opens up combining the Dining, Library and Bar Area to a magnificent large space with the massive rock gas fireplace as its centerpiece. From here the surrounding views of West Hollywood are pristine and magical. Every room is tastefully decorated in a retro style and equipped with all you need: Comfortable sofas, chairs and ottomans, Lights, Wi-Fi, Internet, CableTV, Books, Magazines, a Sonos player as well as a land-line phone and a wireless printer.

Heading out through the Bar sliding glass door, you will find a huge terrace nicely shaded and the relaxing outdoor lounge sofa with an oak-wood cocktail table and the large patio dining round table. The natural grass garden area continues upward and features a hillside covered with trees, lavender plants and bougainvillea flowers, solar lighted at nighttime.

The California King Master Bedroom is spacious and comfortable furnished with ample dressers, cabinets, desk and several lamps. Its Master bathroom has a separate area for Her and Him with plenty of wardrobe space, mirrors and its own walk in closet room. Especially fine for relax is the large sunken bathtub and separate shower, and for the meditation or exercise aficionado the calming Gazebo area has stained glass windows and an ocean coral décor.

The Queen Bedroom with a tropical plantation mood in yellow/white/gray décor and its own emerald green shower stall bathroom with wooden plank floors. It has a large double louvered door wall closet, cabinets and mirrors.

The Tiffany blue kitchen has been beautifully refurbished with new steel appliances, including two original gas stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender and coffeemaker. The Kitchen accommodates a breakfast countertop bar for up to five and in the integrated pantry/laundry you’ll find an iron board and a washer/dryer, with complimentary use and detergent during your stay. From the kitchen you have access and views of the Hills area, outdoor terrace and garden.

The driveway offers covered parking space and secured parking up to four cars.

From here there is also a side entrance directly into the kitchen area.

All main rooms have its own direct access to the outside patio terrace and all rooms are equipped with all you need from Toiletries, towels & linens, dishtowels, utensils, glassware, plastic ware (for the kids) plates, pots, chef’s knives and wine glasses, etc.

During your stay, you will have sole access to the home including the outdoor area & parking and our friendly property manager will look after your needs during your time at the Villa. We will welcome you in person – and we are available 24/7. Nevertheless we ask you to keep in mind, this is a private Villa, which we adore and love. We simply ask that you respect and take care of the property as if it were your own.

Policies

1. Check-in and Checkout: Manager will meet you at the Villa any time after 3:00pm on your arrival date. Checkout time is 11:00am.

2. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.

3. Early check-in: Can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and an early check-in charge. Please inform us in advance of your expected arrival time.

4. A damage deposit of US$1000 is required upon arrival. Charges to your CC. This deposit is fully refundable within 7 days after checkout as long as there have been no damages to the property.

5. A one time cleaning fee of $250 is required upon arrival. Charges to your CC.

West Hollywood is home to the Sunset Strip and bordering West Beverly Hills where nightlife and dining is focused on the Sunset Strip, along Santa Monica Boulevard, and the Avenues of Art & Design along Robertson, Melrose, and Beverly Boulevard.

The Villa is very close to the Sunset Plaza area with its famous Hotels Chateau Marmont, Mondrian, Standard, Music venues like the Whisky Bar, Viper Room and NightBird Recording Studios, Celebrity hangouts such as the Soho House, Rainbow Bar and the Abbey, the stretch of Melrose Avenue, between Fairfax Avenue and Doheny Drive, notable for its trendy clothing boutiques, interior design shops, restaurants and antique stores and the west end of Melrose Avenue, near the Pacific Design Center, especially known for its exclusive furniture.
